Year R Popell Mobile Farm

In order to support our work on new life and Spring, we will be receiving a visit from Popell Barns Mobile Farm on Thursday 5th March 2026. Each class will be shown live animals and they will all get the opportunity to handle and feed some of them themselves. Although we strongly encourage all of the children to join in, no child is ever asked to handle the animals that they do not wish to. Health and Safety is taken very seriously during the visit and all animals handled by the children are used to being handled by young children. There is always lots of handwashing in place! For this experience, we request a voluntary contribution of £4.50 to cover the cost and this is payable via Arbor - select trips, and you will then need to click to sign your child up. This is a reduced price thanks to Helping Angels and parents who donated to Asda Cash Pots. Due to the continuing increasing costs of visits, Year R will not be going on any other trip that would incur a cost for familie
